I ordered from Franco Manca i was a bit disappointed with the sourdough crust. Maybe it was just a bad one, but it was chewy in the wrong way, kind of soggy in the middle, and burnt around the edges. The toppings were fine, so I don’t want to be too harsh, but the base kind of ruined the whole thing for me. I expected better, especially with all the hype. Has anyone else had the same experience?

The gluten-free base was actually nice enough, which was a pleasant surprise. The pizza was good overall, though the price felt a bit much. But it’s fine, totally fine, I’m definitely not still thinking about it.

I went to Franco Manca and, while the pizza was fine I guess, the drinks menu really stood out for the wrong reasons. There just didn’t seem to be much choice, especially if you’re not after wine or the standard soft drink options.
I was hoping for something a bit more interesting and non-alcoholic, but I couldn’t really find anything that appealed. Maybe I missed something, but for a chain that big it felt disappointing. I probably wouldn’t rush back.

People who arrived after us were getting seated first, which made it even more frustrating. I get that places get busy, but I was definitely expecting a faster response or at least some communication. The food might be great, but the wait was handled so badly that we ended up leaving.

Our table was sticky, there were crumbs and bits all over the floor near us, and the toilets looked like they really needed a proper clean. The staff were friendly enough, so I don’t want to be too harsh, but my gut feeling was that hygiene wasn’t being kept on top of. I’d probably think twice before going back.

I used to feel like this place was decent for the price, but my last visit just didn’t sit right with me. At this point, I’d rather save my money and go somewhere that feels like better value.

The staff didn’t seem to know much about what was actually in the dishes, and we got different answers depending on who we asked. It made ordering kind of stressful, especially because of allergies. Like, that’s not really something you want to be guessing on. Overall, it just wasn’t good enough.

Had a problem with my order, but they replies fast and got it fixed. Fair enough, I can’t complain.

I booked ahead thinking it would make a difference, but we still ended up stuck right by the door. Maybe it’s just me, but that kind of made the reservation feel pointless.

The place has a really nice vibe, but it was a bit noisy inside for me. Compared to other spots I usually go to, it felt harder to have a relaxed conversation.

We’ve been to Franco Manca a handful of times now, and it’s kind of been the same sort of experience each time, in a good way. The pizza is generally really decent, it usually comes out quickly, and the staff are mostly friendly enough.

I wouldn’t quite give it full marks because it can get a bit loud now and then, and when it’s busy the service can feel slightly rushed. But overall, it’s one of those places we still end up going back to.

Ordered from Franco Manca and by the time the pizza arrived it was almost cold. The cheese had gone hard and it just wasn’t enjoyable to eat at all. I tried to sort it out but, of course, you end up going round in circles with automated messages instead of actually speaking to someone. Really disappointing — I wasn’t expecting miracles, just a warm pizza.

I don’t know, maybe I just got an unlucky one, but my pizza felt really skimpy on the toppings. Like I kept looking at it thinking there should be more there, but nope, mostly just crust and cheese with a few little bits scattered around. It still tasted okay, but it definitely felt a little stingy

Am I the only one who finds online ordering more stressful than just calling? I tried ordering through the website for what was supposed to be an easy dinner, but the page was super slow, the payment seemed to go through, and then I was just sitting there waiting with no clear confirmation for a while.

When I got to the restaurant, they couldn’t find my order at first, so I had to stand around and explain the whole thing twice. The food was fine once I finally got it, but it wasn’t worth the hassle. I don’t think I’ll be using the online ordering again.

The tables were packed in what felt like a little too tight, so it wasn’t exactly the most comfortable spot to sit and relax...

I went in thinking we’d have a nice meal, but the staff just seemed kind of annoyed with us the whole time. Like, there were no smiles, barely any help, and it just felt really unwelcoming

The kids were super happy, the staff were really calm and friendly, and the food came out quick. Overall, it was a really easy place to go with the family.
